Maria Belova held the position of senior analyst at Global energy department at Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO Energy Centre (2011-2014).
Before that she worked at the Department of Energy at the Institute for Energy and Finance Foundation in Moscow at different positions (2005-2011), where she conducted a research on the development of international energy markets.
She was a member of the expert group on Russia-EU negotiations on Transit Protocol under the Energy Charter Treaty (2006-2008). Member of the thematic group on energy strategies, forecasts and scenarios of Russia-EU Energy dialogue (2010 - 2011). Member of the expert sub-group on energy security of bilateral energy working group of Russian-American Presidential Commission (2010-2011). Member of the expert group on scenarios harmonization for the roadmap of cooperation between Russia and the EU in the energy sector to 2050 (2011).
Belova received her diploma in oil and gas business management from the State University of Management in Moscow (with honor).
She is an academic advisor of MBA program «International oil and gas business» at MGIMO School of Business and International Proficiency.
