In the Part 1 “Production and Budget Revenue Scenarios” of the study, which has become a regular VYGON Consulting public product, presented the in-depth analysis of production and economic performance of Russian upstream oil sector in 2016, as well as projections for the next two years.
One of the key events of 2016 was the signing of an agreement between Russia, OPEC and other exporting countries on cutting oil production to stabilize the market by reducing the existing imbalance of supply and demand.
The study assessed the influence of this agreement on the world's oil balance, the Russian production, budget and companies in 2017-2018. The second part will be devoted to 2016 results and projections of development of the Russian downstream sector.
