Report of Sergey Donskoy, Natural Resources Minister on the effective use of associated gas was the topical issue of the 4-th Global Gas Flaring Reduction Forum (GGFR) held in Khanty-Mansiysk, 9 September 2015.
The Minister believes, that came into force decree № 1148 “On peculiarities of calculating charges for Emissions from combustion gas in flares and/or dissipation of associated gas”, developed by the Ministry with VYGON Consulting experts support in 2013 was an important step to reduce gas flaring in Russia.
