The authors evaluated the impact of factors limiting LNG supply, assessed the chances of proposed projects for timely commissioning, estimated the potential for global demand growth and proposed a detailed supply-and-demand balance forecast up to 2025. They argue that the expectations of LNG glut are not justified, only timely FIDs and appropriate LNG-carrier fleet development may lead to a surplus.
