Russian Oil Industry: 2016 Results and Outlook for 2017-2018 (Part 2)

The second part of the Study, which has become a regular publication by VYGON Consulting, presents a performance analysis of the Russian downstream sector for 2016 and its development forecast for the next two years.

The Study addresses the most pressing issues:

  • Why, in spite of the tax maneuver, is processing increasing at simple refineries, while declining at complex ones?
  • What are the reasons for the increase in retail fuel prices?
  • How will the volume of oil refining change? Will it be profitable for the state?

The Study also examines the prospects for possible changes in the state regulation of oil refining industry, its performance and economic indicators, as well as forecasts of oil and oil products exports.
